Rangoon Chair
Mid-Century Reclaimed Teak & Cane Chair
This cane chair is made from reclaimed teak from the old dismantled wooden buildings of Yangon. It is wonderful as an occasional chair, and knockout as a pair. Based on a classic Burmese chair, it is solid, beautiful and sustainable. The old nail holes and cracks in the wood have been smoothed and filled, giving each chair its own unique character. Made in Yangon by our friend Lin Tin, this really is a very special chair which took three years from concept to completion. We’re very, very proud of it and can’t wait for you to love it.
The cane panels are removable, so that if down the line you need to repair the cane, you can just send off the panels. We want you to have this chair for decades to come.
