Laundry Day
Laundry Day otherwise known as ‘Shadows’ was originally painted by American painter Charles Courtney Curran in 1887. Curran was known for his paintings of women in various settings. There is something so beautiful and unique about the way the shadows play off the white sheets in this painting. It is reminiscent of sunshine and clean laundry on a warm day.
